Terry Good passed away.
He was working on/building the international motorcycle museum, had a wicked collection of unobtainum bikes and works parts.

Dude tried to do a noble thing by acquiring these machines and building a proper museum to showcase the history of our sport. Hate to hear he's gone. Maybe Plan B can turn into something great down the road. Godspeed Terry!!!

I was really hoping he would get to see the opening of the museum. On a selfish note, I was really wanting to go there and see all the awesome bikes, parts, and other bits of MX history that would be there. I hope the family can do something to carry on with his dream and the collection doesn’t get sold off and split up.

A forum is an open meetingplace for thoughts and ideas. Great that he was preserving moto history, but buying bikes without Gary Jones knowledge/consent is bs. Gary specifically says this. Thanks for remembering. Rip Terry

The collector business is no joke.
Best to Terry's family. He curated a unique collection of bikes, maybe "The Terry Good Collection" at Barber would be a good outcome that would get the bikes seen and recognize him to a broader audience for what he was trying to accomplish.
(Recognize not everyone was or is a fan of TG, but we all share a love of that history).

Terry Good had one of the best collections of historical MX machinery out there. Was lucky enough to see Tom White's Early Years of Motocross museum. Terry Good will be missed.

Absolutely!
It would take a pretty penny to acquire his collection, one would assume - though, Barber may well have no problem with that?
Though, his Wife has written that perhaps a building on their property, and a yearly 'do' might be what is in the future.
When I watched one of Terrys' recent Videos - I think it was the Everts Puch one - I noted that he seemed frail / unwell, but I had no idea what was the real state of his health.
I do hope the collection stays together, and it is able to be viewed by people - I'd like to think that's what he would want.

+1 to the collection going to Barber. The collection wouldn't have to be sold to Barber, it could be on permanent loan to Barber.
