Actually going to spend the rest of the weekend with @ccullins76 at the Beta Try Trials clinic here in Montana. Going to be a hoot!! And then a mad scramble to get all the honey do's done and then some before a new trials bike shows up in the shop late Spring...

My wife is gone for the weekend to spend time with her sister, so I have a weekend with no honey dos and some killer left over twice backed mac and cheese in the fridge. If that isn't a left over deal I don't know what is.

It’s not a zero sum game, you can both focus on your family and have opinions on what is good to expose your kids to. The Monster girls are cheesy and tacky IMO. I don’t find it “unsettling.” That’s your word. I think it’s unnecessary. Also never claimed to want to control anyone. Ideally, it would happen through a process of mutual agreement.

I don’t think the sexualized presentation is good for the sport in general. I personally don’t find it useful or good for my young daughters who are starting to tune into the sport. That’s my opinion.

Hopefully it’s one step closer to getting rid of them altogether.

FYI, Pastrana designed the Baltimore track and says that the track map doesn’t do it justice at all. He said it’s the longest set of whoops of the year straight into a set of sand whoops, vertical berm faces, and sections of the track that are wider than any other of the year. He had said they were going to be dragon backs on it but I don’t see them on this version of the track map. Let’s hope Feld doesn’t change anything anymore.

I had the pleasure of watching the person in your avatar rise to the top from PW's on to Factory Yamaha with his dad and it was a thing of beauty. Never loud, never throwing shit, just calm cool collective softly spoken words. Dwayne would watch diligently from the infields of the local tracks, motion over to Kevin and he would pull up to get instruction. A finger point in the direction of what needed attention, some words that you couldn't hear into the side of the helmet, a pat on the back and Kevin was off to clean it...
