To be honest he looked good/conservative considering he's a rookie (and some injuries?), and maybe thinking in the whole season I don't know what happened to him but at one point he was next to Joaquin Poli (ARG), around 20th place. Then passed him, he finished around there

I was there! It was an awesome race between Maxime Rénaux and Romain Febvre, attacking him up to the checkered flag. Tim Gasjer was with them at the beginning, but then they went nuts. Maybe he didn't have the speed or he was thinking about championship and being healthy

Steamed rolled is typically related to compacting Asphalt. Because asphalt pavement final roll or final compaction, utilize a mist of water on the drum. Asphalt is hot so mist of water onto hot asphalt makes steam. In reality, for these woops it’s just called compacted with a drum roller.

I’m against radio comm’s, even one-way comm’s. The benefit of the pit-board is they are at one section of the track and the rider has the option to look or not. A one-way radio piece would create an unexpected interruption at an undetermined time - another variable I don’t think a rider really needs. Additionally, one of the best parts of our sport is we let the racers race. They get to showcase their skills of knowing what’s happening around them, how to set up their own race, how to gauge if another rider is faster or slower in a...

I'm not sure on the radio thing. But a quick and easy solution to prevent riders from hitting pit boards and riding right up against the mechanics area "wall" is to simply put tuff blocks along the front of it to make that extra space. I'm kind of surprised they don't already, here's a shitty photoshop example lol

They already have the leader lights on every bike. You could just turn on everyones leader lights at the same time and make them red.

You leave the truck and race by yourself. You versus the other competitors. Not you versus the 9 spotters that jett will have coaching him on every corner. The best part about moto is the battle of individuals. The team sport aspect is gone when the gate drops. Please stop trying to change and grow the sport. Its fine how it is.

For 2 broken fingers every 10 years??? Stop it... I've used radios in practices at the races 20 years ago. It's super sketchy and dangerous. You can even hear in F1, drivers bitching to their crew when they talk to them in the wrong portions of the track. I don't think many of you raced a SX main and realize the amount of focus you need just to be safe & precise. I can guarantee you this 100%, radios are way more dangerous than pitboards

I want to see racers race, no micromanagement or BS strategy coming from their race manager, you can keep this for F1, thank you. Riders get their data from the track, don't let managers tell them what to do according to what they see on the broadcast. Let them race their own race, period. Also, someone should ask riders if they want someone talking into their helmet during a race... and telling them what to do.

Radio for race director communications could be a good thing. I am against team communications. Part of the "magic" of the sport is that it's just guys on dirtbikes racing and they have the awareness that they have by observation while flying around a track. Take out all the money, glitz, glamor, etc. When they line up, it's dudes on dirtbikes sending it and that's it. I do not want them to have bird's eye view information from a 3rd party of what is going on in the race. Calculated decisions, race math, potential for team orders, "Jett is going...

To be honest, I don't think it would be good for the sport. We will start with "keep your position because the rider in front of you is......", a lot of math will happen in the pits and racing will be boring. Once you open this door, you'll never close it back. I agree with the safety side but even...

Merry Christmas to you all and Godbless yall and all your families. I can’t wait for the day to post that he took his first unassisted steps. I just know it’s going to happen. Kids got that dog in him. We are just a small Moto/wrestling family and means the world how many of yall have reached out and put your busy life’s aside to send a small prayer out for Jake. No bitching, no complaining, no why me’s. At the gym (ATF in Carrollton) by 7:30am, 45 minute drive from his place, 5 days a week. Goes to Baylor in downtown Dallas - PT twice a week, and another therapy gym on Fridays. Drives himself everywhere. Takes his wheelchair apart piece by piece from the drivers seat, and puts it in the passenger seat, then puts it all back together when he gets to where he’s going. Carrollton gym is closed for the holidays until 1/2 - owner told Jake - tell me what time you want to be here and...

Little Update on Jake I wanted to share a quick update on Jake's journey over the past couple of weeks. He recently completed an 8-week exoskeleton clinical trial at Craig Hospital in Denver, and it was an incredibly positive experience for him. He made some significant progress during the trial! Jake has now transitioned to outpatient therapy at Baylor Dallas, where he’s attending sessions twice a week, and he's also started going to a therapy gym. He remains interested in pursuing stem cell therapy and hopes to explore that option before the end of the year. If anyone has suggestions...
