The riders that people expected to be on top of the box were tonight. Congrats to Deegan and Jett
It’s funny how every year the red plate gets passed around to some unlikely folks and as fans we get tunnel vision. We forgot that season patterns don’t start to play out until there’s enough actual data for there to be patterns. People don’t usually get in a groove until 5-8 or even 10 rounds into the season.
You’d think after being fans for years and years we’d remember that the first few weeks don’t tell any story except what happened the first few weeks.
You mean like AP7 having the red plate at this time last year ?
Someone once said that it doesn’t start until Daytona.
“The season doesn’t start until they go east.” 😉
Really been noticing this for the past few seasons. People have very short memories and attention spans. Last week - Tomac is gonna win the whole thing, he’s better than ever. This week - Kenny can finally do it this year. The red plate means nothing until the last checkered flag.

I think people latch onto whatever their particular bias has already directed them toward. Don't expect people to be swayed by reason and the facts, emotion wins every time.
That's why you see people getting excited about things like AP having the red plate and thinking he's going to win a championship. Most of the time it's pretty easy to predict who the players will be and who will win the lion's share of races.
It will be Jett and Deegan taking control now. The other 450 guys have worse/more bad races than Jett. He figured out the bike. Deegan is just faster.
Yup. Each week Jett seems more sorted out and able to push the bike like he did last year. Bad news for everyone. I don't see it as definitely with Deegan. While I agree he's faster, it's not by some huge margin. We've already seen, he's not winning from a bad start. Maybe Juju can mage his way to a title like Vialle did. If I'm betting money, it's on Haiden
I will be surprised if he doesn’t win the rest.
Wouldn't shock me. I've said multiple times already before the season started I thought he might go undefeated. Juju has some speed though and is showing himself to be a solid starter. Damn it, I just realized we don't get to see Deegz ride Daytona
What popped in my head too lol
