Thanks for the well wishes, that was many years ago and my knees are currently fine. It's great that you have worked to help keep riding areas open. It sounds like that is your job in that position to paint riding in a positive light. To say that it isn't dangerous is inaccurate though. You can't really manipulate what the media is going to portray for clicks (gnarly stunts). It's no different for other sports though. Snowboarding is extremely dangerous so should it not be in the Olympics because the public could see someone get seriously hurt?

Travis should’ve had the 01 title also. The crashes and ko,s where big ones. At Millville he was passing out or blacking out while racing. Everyone in America knows Travis. I met a chic last summer from DC she knows nothing about Mx but knows Of Travis. He was doing a stunt in DC and they closed a important bridge. Big deal because it would cripple traffic for 20 hrs across 3 states. Ac9 washed the front end out at Millville in the sweeper that a lot riders ovr time did. Seemed like he blamed his elbow on the crash...

Pretty sure it was part of his contract with Kawasaki. At least that’s my understanding of it.

Fantastic facility that Trey has worked his ass off on. Blows my mind that a National never made it there. That track puts Pala to shame (yes, been to both many times). I can see the possible burnout of the family as Trey has got to be in his early 50’s and looking to cash out. Lord knows we need more homes as over the last few years we’ve gotten a couple hundred thousand more humans on US soil…

Meh....but what if you're wrong...but seriously the only thing the manufacturers are interested is championships and if you cut those in half they will cut their teams in half...this industry will not support one single 250 championship with the same support as two...that's just a fact...

The point everyone is missing is that by eliminating the coasts and having it one series will mean there is no reason for the teams to keep the number of riders they have....so there would be fewer rides and fewer mechanics thus fewer jobs...not sure why people are having a hard time understanding that....

You're assuming that the teams will keep the same amount of riders and support staff if it was just one series....you seriously think Star or PC will keep 5 and 6 riders if there weren't separate coasts...just bike parts costs? I guess all those people travel for free...

I disagree. Eliminating the two regions in favor of one series for the 250 class would result in jobs being lost. Teams would have to scale down their efforts because 250 riders would want to get paid more. Those guys won't race more races for the same amount of money they are getting now. Running 6 riders would cost a hell of a lot more money for salaries, bonuses, bikes, parts, travel accommodation, etc. Budgets would need to increase significantly in order for that to happen and people don't just hand out money. Some of the smaller teams only run...

I hope to never have to return to Atlanta in my life. Been to a lot of "big cities" around the country for work and Atlanta is hands down my least favorite. I like to pick on SoCal but man....Atlanta is just a S&%! hole.
