If you're in the Myrtle Beach area, I'll assume your local riding areas will be sand. If so, try to find some hard dirt to learn/practice on before taking on the sand - it makes it much easier when learning the basics.

You've never ridden and you're 6'3" and 220 lbs ? KLX all day. Go learn the basics and have fun. If you decide you want to race you can always get a 125 or something else later. Go find some trails and have fun 🙂

Take it from a 6’4” 220lb’r Whatever you get, make sure you can adjust or change the footpegs, seat and handlebar combo so you’ll fit on the bike. Also, get your suspension checked out/revalved for you. Your knees and spine will thank you!

220 you’re going to be pissed off trying to ride a 125. Abusing the clutch and ringing it’s a neck!!! YZ250 if you’re looking for a “newer” two stroke.

Had to go the dentist today. Had to put the puppy, Mardi, in a crate. You ever see a dog with zero respect for a wire kennel? Got home and she met me at the door. Kennel is turned 90 degrees and on its side. She broke the hinge side of the gate. These Catahoulas are something else!

Bwaaaahaaaaaahaaaaaaaaa Hey, dearest ageist lil’ boy or whatever you identify as… We aren’t resulting to violence. The left is...has…and, let’s be clear…your post lets us know who you are and how you think. Oooops! You can’t and haven’t “whooped” anything or anyone. So, you just keep tapping away on mom’s keyboard and let’s see how this all plays out. I love this stuff. They just throw their hate and ignorance down…right out in the open. Hilarious…”we can whoop ‘em”.

That’s another path to prosecution. Fauci has testified in congress in 2021 and 2024. He denied that NIH funded gain of function research. That’s proven false by all accounts, including his own emails. So if the pardon is durable, then he is safe from prosecution. But if he appears again and still denies that NIH funded gain of function research, then he’s committed perjury and cannot hide behind the pardon. We’ll see what happens. But in any case, I’d encourage the liberals on this site to set their political allegiances aside and hope for some answers on this. Fauci duped...

Falcon Liked a reply to forum topic How tough is it to get your street bike license

I was scared to death for a few of my friends who bought streetbikes in the '90s. They mashed up a bunch of different ideas in their heads about how to steer the bike around; the first being the countersteering you are describing. The other part was having watched On Any Sunday, wherein the LSR aero bike had to turn opposite over 100 MPH because of the aero, but then reverted back to regular steering at 200 MPH. The end result is that my friends thought, "turn left to go right until 100 MPH, then turn right to go right...
