They’re 98% the same bike. Just different suspension settings and footpeg mounts. I’m always suspicious when someone is selling a used bike with 1 hour on a new top end. Make sure they have paperwork proving it. I’d rather buy a new leftover bike from kawi or Suzuki than a used 250f with 70+ hours but that’s just me.

Had the priviledge of taking a Desmo for a spin during my last ride of the year. Local Ducati rep in Montreal got his hands on one and was generous enough to loan it to me for a moto. First thing I noticed was how light the Ducati was and I felt it after I lifted it off the stand. The tank appears bulky but found my knees tucked in pretty far and the ride height made the bike feel tall, kind of like a Honda. Bottom end power was rather mellow but it pulls extremely hard in the mid-top...
