Completely calm, what I do know is for someone that has talked all the shit that Deegan has talked anything but a win is laughable....That aside a top 5 for him is VERY respectable had he kept his mouth shut and just rode his dirtbike. Unfortunately for him he didn't, so it is what it is. Win or expect the shit storm....

To me his whole deal in MXGP was like ripping a massive hole shot, looking like he’s just cruising with almost zero effort, but then all of the sudden you check the lap times and he’s gapping the field by a huge margin, then slowing down near the end of the race because he’s tired. Add in some blocking if someone caught him and this was his recipe for success in MXGP. It will be interesting to see what he does with a lead, but I predict he’s going to lead a lot of laps but get passed a lot...

Whoever is running the content for mxgp must work with Bondo. Was excited to watch the races when I woke up, the moto 1 videos were 35 seconds ahead in audio. Then they took everything down and haven’t posted anything since. So I watch the highlight video and they didn’t even add the second MX2 moto and spent about 1 minute covering the 2nd mxgp moto. Dumbasses

Are you serious? Did you see his crash? It was a gnarly impact to the same shoulder he's injured multiple times prior. He out qualified the entire 450 class. Twice. That's arguably insane considering his experience level and where he was last year.

It 100% was not "very common" in the 2-stroke days. For some reason a few dudes started doing it around the time Barcia went pro, but back in the 80s & 90s (the true "2-stroke days"), you never heard someone at full throttle while their rear wheel was 8 feet off the ground unless it was a panic rev.

George is notorious for only riding well with a good start. Even in GP’s he struggled to come through the field.

I think we're "finally" seeing the true effects of the bad overall economy and especially a bad powersports market. I think this is the reality the coming 3-5 years at least.

As good as Geerts was slated to be, he is 4th best Belgian now, with Coenen's and Everts already above him. He had enough chance to close out a WC and didnt get it done, and after 2 seasons on 450, where he has pretty much done what he did in 250, at what point do you say 'enough' as Yamaha. At the time where he was the 'next thing', its a sound investment, but now they need to make room for someone else, who might do what he hasnt. Interesting that Gifting wants no part in the Factory Yamaha...

Well, so far for Geerts' top 5 aspirations. Once you go that way, you know your best years have passed.
