I’m just curious long the AMA was going to let that go on for. Had he not gotten “hurt” would they have let him go for ratings? If he succeeded would they have penalized him? Their is plenty of precedent of being black flagged at Loretta’s for “manipulating” the outcome of a race….cant imagine this would have been any different.

I’ve been a fan of his racing while mostly ignoring the ‘noise’ that he creates, but tonight he proved that he simply has no character at all. To be honest, his attempts were so blatant that I wish the AMA would suspend him for the first 3 races next season.

That kid is definitely far from smart. What an !diot. When was race officials going to black flag him before he hurt Shimoda or anyone else? Is that the image of the sport they wanted to show? an angry immature child not wanting to race but trying to take his opponent down in the most snowflake way? Once Deegan does the second takeout move the black flag should’ve been thrown out. The probability of Shimoda being the one down with a broken collarbone was just as big as Deegan. The lack of officiating made the sport look like a circus yet again.

8/27/2025 12:48am He left Gasgas when KTM almost went bancrupt and Lucas came to KTM. No GasGas lined up in MXGP in '25 so maybe the switch to US is somewhat forced. Going back in time it's clearly Jorge is not the mental strongest rider out there and team bosses know that. He should get a chance on a Steel frame back...
