Cost is getting too high for many. Some friends are getting gear from aliexpress and temu for 40€ set. You cant get even cheap shirt or gloves for that in real shop. Even worse china stuff seems to fit and hold great for that value.

My brother won the 31 week season and I finished 4th and we received nothing at all. Not even a free $10 upgrade for this year. Prizes promised first then participation trophies for the top ten overall which were never received. It was a fun league until prizes were withheld. Improvement's were promised for 2025 and I am not seeing it. Is it worth the time or effort to put in to win this like we did? Pretty lame...

They obviously do and theres a reason Prado brought in Reed at one point to help him because he apparently does not know what he’s doing when it comes to setting up a bike for himself. For Jorge to make that post and not even acknowledge that the team was trying is crazy. Oscar and some of the other team members spent weeks at clubmx trying to help him.

Jorge doesn’t know how to set up or test a bike. And then doesn’t push in practice. How I imagine the convo goes JP: the bike is not comfortable. Kawi: What’s the problem? Lewis, I haven’t seen any interviews with Jorge regarding Budds Creek. Did he just refuse to talk to you guys?

RV won an overall on his 2nd attempt and when he broke his ass he was above Febvre in points who by the way won the title that year. People that still shit on RV are absolute idiots, people get injured in our sport every single year, part of the sport sadly. Some of the specifics was KYB vs Showa. Eli uses KYB, Kawasaki was only developing Showa. On top of that, Showa was holding back some of their support with Kawasaki since Eli was running KYB. Add to that that he was relegated to the number 2 spot as Adam was their #1 guy, and the reliability problems he was having and it doesn't sound like the best of vibes under the Kawasaki tent.

Can we just stop blaming Kawasaki for this?. Yes they were stubborn 10-15 years ago but things have changed with Wirdeman as crew chief. It’s clear that they put in the work, Oscar has been with Prado for weeks testing at club etc. I’ll promise that they have done just as much as any other brand would have done to make their ultra expensive investment get along with the bike. Honda was in one way before and have gotten way more relaxed with Lars as team manager, teams evolve and you can’t stamp them in the same way forever..

Matthes keeps posting he'll finish SMX, and then he's gone. I disagree - I don't think there's any way that the Kawi brass is going to risk him pulling the same "giving up" at SMX. I mean, at this point if they put him on the bike the entire team would be asking themselves "Wonder if he'll actually try to qualify"....which is mind-boggling and I can't imagine a team manager wanting his team dealing with.

I said this in June and people thought it was ridiculous: Jorge isn't the type of guy to step outside of his comfort zone to 'force it'. No excuse for what he did at Budds Creek. I think that was a result of a relationship beyond repair. They must separate ASAP...
