5/22/2025 1:03pm I ended up getting the issue resolved. I bought some 1000 grit sand paper, sprayed it with wd40, and attached the bolt on the other side and basically polished the axle. I then hand polished the fork lug clamp area on the inside to clean up any corrosion. Still a snug fit but it can at least float correctly inside...

5/14/2025 7:40pm Height looks good, I don’t see any indentation, on the lug. Is yours not hard to remove on your 25? Are you polishing the axel or the actual inside part of the lug?

Like was stated above, hold the kill button down until the map light goes out and try it again. It works every time for me. I read this in several places and it works.

5/5/2025 8:30am I never did figure out what it was but the problem went away after while and its been good. I replaced the battery and maybe that was it. I’ve heard the stock batteries are not that good.

Are you using the cold start plunger? My FX fires up much faster if it's pushed in than if I just crank it.

9/3/2024 2:08am I never figured out the issue. I think it’s just the nature of the bike it seems. Have not had any problems. Every once in awhile it does it.

I have the same bike and issue. It seems that its a priming issue (for me at least). If my bike sits for a bit it will also take awhile of cranking to turn over. I have recently started opening up the throttle a full turn then letting close after pressing the start button once, and that has helped.

If it doesn’t start up after turning over a few times, hold the kill switch down until the blue light goes off. After that it’ll fire right up.

Next time try this... Hold throttle wide open and crank motor for 10 seconds then stop. Then push kill switch button for another 10 seconds. Pull enricher button and start.
