10/7/2024 12:15am I just rewatched it and you’re right. Gajser def picked up on Jetts lines but ( I hate to say it) the lappers very much helped Gajser stay in touch. Jett ran into the lappers consistently at a bad spot causing him to take odd lines and make mistakes. But full credit to Gajser that last 1/2 lap was amazing.

I know theres been a lot of great races, but holy cow. All of the greatest riders in the world were there all in the same race riding for their country. This was the final race this is for all the marbles. You had everything from a Tomac holeshot and him leading the first part of the race, to the tomac gajser battle where tomac passed him back like 5 times. You had USA winning mxon for part of the race before australia passes them to move into the lead. You had jett start in about 12th which never happens...

Very easy. He was better than everyone else. His 03 CR250 bike set up is to this day, in my opinion, the worst bike to ever win a championship. It was close in SX with Chad though who won maybe the last 6? RC was an absolute machine. In his career, he only had the best bike for 1 of his championships, the 2004 Nationals on the CRF450. The rest of them, he beat everyone and the best bike. On his KX125 days, Windham's or Factory Yamaha 125s were better. In his KX250/RM250 days, the Yamahas were better. In his...

Things have been starting to look positive with Australian talent. There were the years after Reed that lots of Aussies got rides. Some did really well. But it seemed to dry up a little before the Lawrences, (Alot of failed hires between mxgp and Ama). After Reed. Byrner, Mcfarlane and Metty things didn't go as well. Kayden Minear showed up at the moto combine with a 1-4 finish. Very impressive. Tiger Woods moved over a few years ago and is developing well.
