Also depends on the group your buying from. My age group 50's-60's, we get 200 hrs plus with no issues. Regular maintenance, your good to go. Younger crowd... Unsure

I've had a 16 Husky 450 and currently have a 17 KTM 450. Only issue I've had was the stock battery. I put a wp lithium in each and haven't had a problem since. I am currently selling the KTM 450 with 77 hours on it.

As someone who has put 100+ hard hours on KTM/Husky's as well as Japanese bikes of almost every brand, and someone who got paid to maintain bikes of every brand that were ridden extremely hard for many hours on SX/oudoors, I couldn't disagree more.

kb-450 Started a new thread 2018 KTM 85SX bogging

4/2/2018 12:23pm
Having an issue the bike bogging, but happens after about 2-3 laps. No bog before that and runs amazingly. Almost like a vapor lock type of bog. Continues sitting on the side of the track. Already checked the gas cap and put a brand new plug. No change. Any other suggestions?

ML512 Liked a product review First Impressions: 2018 Alta Motors Redshift MXR and MX

3/2/2018 6:23pm
It's truly amazing how far the Alta crew has come since we saw its predecessor, BRD, and then the first version of the Alta at the AIMExpo in 2014. While there's been a few electric motocross-based offerings on the market, the Redshift MX really stands out as the first one to be comparable and even competitive when compared to the current internal combustion offerings that we're used to. Beyond that they've kicked off 2018 with a big jump in performance as they launched a new race-focused model, the MXR, and were also able to significantly cut the costs on their...

kb-450 Added a reply to KTM 125 Tire size

2/22/2018 1:32pm
I've been running the Dunlop 32S for a while now. The bike is exceptionally strong for a 125. Has a little port cleanup, fmf factory exhaust, and tumbled gears. Just feels like it could handle a little bigger tire. Hate to buy one and not like it. Tkx for the feedback.

Gotta put some new sneakers on the 12' 125. Currently running a 100 (stock), wondered if anyone on here have any feedback on going to a 110. Dunlop SX3. Thanks in advance.

kb-450 Added a reply to TM Bikes - Opinions?

2/17/2018 9:14am
I rode an 18' tm 144 a couple of weeks ago. I didn't think it was as fast as my ktm 125. It felt a good bit heavier and came on a bit late. My ktm has a little port work, tumbled gears, and pipe. But all stock outside that. I was expecting more from the tm tbh.

No, Barcia never made contact with Eli. Clean pass. A predisposition of Barcia and closed eyes would be the only way you could blame him for Tomac's tip over.

Of course TJ. Have to let me know when you're down this way. Problem with my track is since I ride ruts almost exclusively, I really suck on hard pack flat turns.

More is never enough lol. My track a mile long on about 12 acres. It really depends on what type of track you want and if you want lanes close to one another. Oh, and if you want to get a water truck around it.

Thx, I built a water truck from a duce and a half. The key for my track is to lightly till the track and really soak it the night before, up to 30k gallons of water depending on the time of year. Next morning, we till that in, the another dusting of water. Finally, I always finish with a till...
