Deegs post race interview was poor taste, bashing on your competitor while he was laying on the concrete floor crying. Think it like this, If tomac would have crashed as hard as Forkner and Jett would have won, ghost rided the bike (Until this point all good in my eyes) but then brag how you pressured him into that mistake and then shouting Welcome to the danger zone baby he would get smaaaaaaaaashed so yeah, Deegan is not a kid.

I don’t think the issue with Deegan is everyone not having respect for him. It is the fact that Deegan doesn’t respect anybody except himself, or at least thats what he puts out there in his interviews, if you can call them interviews more like scheduled self promotion.

AF had stretched the lead back out before his crash. It was over two seconds. I think the part that rubbed people wrong was when he mentioned he knew he could pressure him into a mistake. I get deegan fans will defend him and I am neither a fan nor a hater but even I was like ehhh not a good look.

Regarding the "Danger Zone" comment, I agree that was cheesy and I would not promote that if I was on his PR team.

I am a massive sports fan...but have lost interest int he stick and ball sports College sports has been ruined with the transfer portal and NIL NFL was awful this year and the pandering makes me roll my eyes NBA hasn't been watchable since Jordan retired in 98 Baseball , i love but the rule changes they have made catered to the tok tok generation NHL is really the only pure sport that doesn't cater to non fans I love Supercross even if I'm still learning about it. MotoGp, F1, Indy, dirt racing, Rally cross. All those are so enjoyable...

Moto will never come close to competing with stick and ball sports (and I hate stick and ball sports). The ONLY way we'd ever see that happen is if every school in America (elementary-high school) added motocross to their list of school sports. You sign your kid up, he gets a bike and gear for the season and there is practice every day after school at the school's motocross track and the kids race every weekend against other schools and if he does really well through high school he gets a free ride to college to go race for them...

We don't have that kind of leverage. We're a gnat's puckerhole compared to the NFL. (...and FWIW - I loathe the NFL)

It's not core fans that fill the baseball and football stadiums during supercross. Yes they are there but there's a hell of a lot of other casual spectators too.

There have been some great champions that did it with class….even when things were going bad for them at times. Sometimes someone is just an ass…no excuses.

Not to dive into a Jett and Deegan debate, but it’s crazy how these “kids” act out when they don’t get there way. It’s the product of being coddled and put on a pedestal their entire lives I guess. disclaimer: I’m a fan of both but don’t like tantrums or entitled behavior. second disclaimer: I don’t like cookie cutter answers and vanilla personalities either. But you can be “edgy” without coming across as a spoiled brat
