Well...I'm 65. I haven't seen everything but I've seen some and studied a lot of history. That old saying about forgetting history means you're doomed to repeat the mistakes of the past is as true now as it ever was. We have ALWAYS been one decision or incident away from catastrophe since time began. WW1 was when war became global and it's only gotten worse since then. Unless you have super powers then like the rest of us...just get on with your day. If you can't fix it then just be the best dad, husband, son, man you can be...

Would anyone want to live through it? My guess would be if you were to peel away all the layers of what's been happening lately. You'd probably find that China has influenced most of it. Why does it seem we must have our weapons, our energy, our funding tied into all these conflicts. China is an agitator, that is promoting a war of attrition on the U.S. Once, and if we ever get to the point of having to defend our own country, there'll be nothing left to defend it with.

Back in 2015-2016 it was feeling that way as well. Crazy how they all said it would be trump to start WW3. Even crazier is how this feels like 1990-94 and 2001-2016 all over again. I can only comment on those years as those are years I can remember or knew about in a non historical sense.

China going to attack Taiwan. Any other middle eastern countries have some crazy shit happen. China pushes too hard in Africa. Russia invades another country. Belarus invades a country. Poland says fuck it and joins Ukraine. Lots of viable options. WW3 is coming and the lines have long been drawn.

I was helping my bro in law with a new start up using coffee waste. They recently discovered there is more money in carbon credits than licensing fees for using the hardware to collect the waste. Such a scam!!

Talked to a big local Phoenix area developer today, who has been in the retail and multi family (apartments) business for decades and built numerous shopping centers and apartment complexes. He has a parcel next to a popular shopping center he owns, in a very hot area (less than 2 miles from the new 10 billion dollar TSMC semiconductor plant under construction). He has been planning for 2 years to build 280 apartments on his parcel, working with the City of Phoenix for approvals. He said in the past 6 months, apartment developers have stopped any new units in the...

It's such a racket, car companies like tesla can sell their carbon credits to other companies who didn't meet the requirements.

It seems when we went through the economic stall back 08-09, it wasn't as bad because the cost of living was not affected as it is today. Fuel, groceries, medical, rent, utilities...ect., remained stable. But I am seeing signs of a recession and it goes back to Bidens first day in office when he decided to attack energy. There's nothing in this country that energy does not effect. I see it with my customers, and my manufacturers. My customers' orders are slowing down, or I'll get calls from them asking me to lower my prices, even if by 1%. Manufacturers...

Bidenomics at its finest. Luckily the private jet market seems to have survived, and commercial flight hours are up, but only cos they fucking cratered through covid Pubs , cafe's and restaurants are closing at a rate you cant keep up with .

The bowling alley I work at has been hit hard. I got laid off from my job. They said they no longer needed someone to spray disinfectant in the rental shoes.... Sad . . . . . . . . . . . . .. . . . . I kid, I kid. My industry has been booming even during COVID (electronics/engineering). ...BUT, that doesn't mean the country isn't in a recession. Gas, food, services...everything has skyrocketed. I've gotten raises, but they do not keep up with the rate of inflation. ...but I'm very well paid/bonused. We haven't cut back...

Gas prices up $0.45-50 in less than a week. Fed just raised interest rates to a 22yr high. Just dropped $100 at the grocery store and walked out with four bags on one hand. Just last week I bumped my labor rate by 15%. And should have been 20%. Luckily in an upper end homebuilding industry, that's booming, in a red state. Every home in over 6yrs has been for people relocating. Going to ride that wave as long as it lasts.

Deegan is a marketing machine who under the surface toes the corporate line and understands the importance of the sport needing a villain. J-Law didn’t care about any of that and wasn’t a character, he went full send- you can’t compare the two in that way (and I’m a J-Law fan)

Love how JLaw has gone from “legend” around here to being an afterthought. I won’t go into him f***king off a career many would give a left nut to have…he is surely no hero, but it’s cool he’s back in the saddle and having fun.

Everyone always goes pink for Ironman. We’ve been doing it for years as Ironman is always at the tale end of October for breast cancer awareness. Usually everyone runs pink plate backgrounds.
