Dude Tomac had a good start in moto 1 today. He was 4th by the second or third corner and would have finished 4th except Hunter crashed on the last lap and gifted him 3rd. Moto 2 both Jett and Eli had bad starts and finished 1-2.

He’s got the “gracious in defeat” part down. It’s just the “humble in victory” part that he needs to work on. I’m pretty sure that’s the only reason why people dislike him. Bragadocious in victory is cringe if you get beat the next weekend.

This was a mature, smart ride from Jett. He didn’t take any unnecessary risks trying to get to 1st place in the 1st moto. He accepted the 3rd place finish. Went back to the rig, regrouped, maybe a few adjustments to the bike, and a moto 2 win. Smart, mature ride.

Or Tomac! If Jett gets the overall we should make multiple Beast Mode threads to commemorate his 1-9 on the day and then cry about Jett’s 16th overall out of 17 starts on a 450. I have not, until today, leaned into being super annoyed with people’s crappy attitude toward Jett…but man it’s annoying to listen to the extreme measures of cope folks will go to trying to delusion themselves out of respecting the dude.
