I was in the booth at Mammoth announcing this race, was working the whole event. As soon as yellow flags came out in that section which was immediately on the lap he went down, I saw 3 EMT's on foot sprinting into that area...and I do mean sprinting....followed by a medic mule. Given how well they staff the flaggers at that race and the immediate response I saw from the medics I would have a hard time believing that Aidan was laying on the track unattended to. All good. It actually got me thinking about him more, so there’s that… it’s been 27 years. I’ve been watching every video and every pic that is posted of Aiden. It’s incredible to see how much he touched everyone. Truly a great kid, taken too early !

I don't race moto a ton so I usually didn't see him more than a few times per year, but somehow he always remembered me and asked about what I was working on currently if we had a chance to talk. Seemed like a great guy and his ability to remember so many people and their stories was really something special, not to mention he was always kind to me or anyone else I saw him interact with.
