So the US has bombed Iran under the pretense that iran is “weeks away” from getting a bomb.
From the Trump appointed director of national intelligence website in march 25’
“The IC continues to assess that Iran is not building a nuclear weapon and Supreme leader Khomeini has not authorized the nuclear weapons program that he suspended in 2003. We continue to monitor closely if Tehran decides to reauthorize its nuclear weapons program.”
They really ran the same weapons of mass destruction lie back… again.

If 6% of enrichment is plenty for power and medical uses, why are they enriching to 60%+ which is what is needed for nukes?

I think it needs to be 90%+ for nuclear weapons. Still higher than the minimum for power generation it sounds like, but maybe it becomes more efficient with the higher purity? Just a guess.
I’d say that they are doing things underground for the reason that occurred today; to keep it away from being destroyed.

I voted for a POTUS with a backbone. Who would put America first, secure our borders, wouldn’t kowtow to the swamp, the UN, the purple hairs or world opinion.

Sort of, the Shah of Iran was supported by the US, he used the country's oil to enrich himself, his family and those around him, while tortured his political opponents, and impoverishing his people. They have reason not to like or trust the US, bombing them won't change that.

That’s a highly improbable IF. Israels interests are American interests, so in essence he is putting America first.
It’s much easier to negotiate from a position of strength than weakness. Negotiating from a position of weakness is what allowed Iran to get as far along in their nuclear program as they did. He gave them the opportunity to negotiate, they refused.

The deal made by the Obama Administration, Iran was adhering to. Then the Trump Administration dismantled that entire deal and then their nuclear enrichment began again. Because why wouldn’t they? A deal was made that they were following and then it just gets ripped to shreds by the next administration. So they said okay I guess the deal is off. Now the world is worried about Iran getting a nuclear bomb, as they should be, and the US took out their nuclear capabilities. For now anyway. Classic case of creating the problem and then being the solution. I’d expect gas prices to skyrocket if Iran or their proxies have even minor success on any oil tankers in the region.
