I was able to use one of the inserts and get the standard bolt to hold. Those bolts don't need a lot of torque and I have removed it 3-4 times since doing the insert without an issue. Just put the red loctite on the insert and let it bond solid before you insert your bolt. I let mine sit...

Was in Jacksonville for a few years and it was pretty brutal the first summer there. Once my body got used to the humidity and I was there all year gradually working up to the summer it wasn't nearly as bad the second or 3rd summer.

I agree with everyone saying McGrath would have still been dominant. I was just watching old races and seeing how quickly LaRacco was catching up it makes you wonder how things would have turned out if he could have started up front as consistently as McGrath. I still think McGrath was quicker, but if LaRacco was up front every week...

Watching old supercross races and I wonder if Jeremy McGrath would have been so dominant if Laracco could have figured out the starts. Many of the races he was riding faster than McGrath, but when you get bad starts night after night it makes it hard to beat someone like McGrath.

I like the fact that you have more than just one race to determine your outcome (like outdoors) but the races were so short that it came down to starts for who was going to be in the top 3 for each race. If you had a first turn mishap there wasn't a lot of time to get back inside...

I haven't ridden at OMC. I have been there a few times to watch the races. I haven't become a member yet. I ride mostly trails and such these days. I'm only an intermediate rider and have only a little MX experience, but I love to watch it and wish I had more time to practice and get good.

Great post OP. Lots of details. I'm excited to see the future of these bikes. The price is still too high right now for me to consider it. In a few years with technology advancements making the batteries better, batteries lighter and the costs cheaper I can see these taking over a lot of motorcycle markets.

I am changing all the fluids in my 2014 KTM 250 SX. Right now I'm out of oil so the transmission is empty. I have been working on the hydraulic clutch and changing the fluid. I was able to change the fluid fine just like I did the brakes, but I noticed after I was done that with the clutch...

Well looks like I found the problem. The bottom bolt on the slave cylinder is partially stripped. The bolt goes in and gets a little tight, but then it breaks loose. I'm going to have to retap or get an insert for those threads. Anyone had that issue and is there enough engine material to support an insert or going...

I have a 2014 KTM 250 SX and it's a great all around bike. Makes good power, handles well and is pretty easy to ride. I haven't really ridden a late model 4 stroke so I don't have anything to compare it to in that regard. The last 4 stroke I rode was back in the early 00s when they...

Oh I think the 250s are too good for the entry class as well. If I was making the rules I would make things CC for CC between the 2 strokes and 4 strokes and stick with the old displacements of 250 and 125. Depending on how the 4 strokes worked out they might need a bump to 150 or...
