I have the Vortex with XPR mapping for T4 / pump fuel. I run it with 92 ethanol free. XPR's "Torque" map is a big change from all the others I've ridden and I suspect is the direction you'd like to go. It's more toward the feeling of the 2018 - 2020 CRF450R, YZ450F and YZ250F. It's not my cup of tea, but it sounds like you'll appreciate it. I stick with the "Best Overall Power" & "Hardpack Surface / Smooth Delivery" maps depending on the conditions.

There have been 0 real world failures, Kawi noticed abnormal wear patterns on a test mule. Im not sure what everyone is so worried about, its a "stop sale" not a recall. Kawi is 100% doing the right thing an should be praised for it.

I never cared for Diffy in the booth, he's more a distraction than a talent. That said, I didn't think he had the mentality of an 8th grade girl either. Normally, I'd wait to hear the other side, but the on camera incident with RC in Dallas kind of sealed the deal for me that DB probably isn't exaggerating the situation. I disagree. Core brands like Maxima (happens to be in the oil space) help progress the sport and put riders and teams on the track. They're a made in USA product that invests heavily into the categories that they sell in. I'm using them as an example but there are plenty of others - Works Connection, Renthal, Pro Circuit and FMF....etc. They all put their money back into the sport via sponsorship dollars. Not trying to come down on anyone just offering a perspective on product from Walmart vs. product from a moto brand. Also, Tusk is a RMATV house...

Choosing Walmart over Maxima....Remind me again, what teams and what events does Walmart sponsor? My simple bike and gear hack is to support companies that support the sport. Otherwise we'll have no sport left. Same goes for Temu shoppers undercutting brands that pump money into the sport and work to make better products.

You know how you always get that layer of dirt at the top of the air filter that seems to fall into the boot? Run a piece of tape over that junction. Then pull it off before you pull the filter and that area will be nice a clean. So much easier!
