The red flag only came out due to his location on the track (on top of that tunnel). IF this would’ve happened, say in the whoops, the red flag would’ve never came out. Period.

When's the last time you saw someone get the shit knocked out of them and line back up to get a podium? I agree...if they didn't pull the red flag, his season is over. But they did...and he was cleared...and he came back to get a podium. Don't start with this "restart every race someone wrecks in" bullshit.

I think Cooper's only complaint is that after tonight he realizes McAdoo wants this more than him and will do anything it takes to win the title. He knows McAdoo is the only rider able to beat him on any given night. His first thought when he rode by Cam's crash was probably "oh sweet, this title is mine. I can chill now." Then it became "oh shit...this ain't gonna be so easy."

I probably like Webb more than barcia, but none of that looked dirty to me. Webb was pushing really hard for that position and it cost him another. If I was a championship contender, Anderson and barcia are the two guys I would think twice about racing hard, especially if they aren’t in the points chase

Webb used to do this when he was the slower rider getting passed in his Yamaha days. Look at Daytona before Eli decided he had enough and took both Webb and himself out. I don’t feel bad for Webb on this one.

That wasn’t cross jumping, he moved over on the ground. Webb does that stuff all the time to people. He might actually be the best at taking lines away and brake checking

Lotta riders known for riding a wide track. Whether a fan is cool with it or not usually comes down to the riders they like/dislike and not actually anything to do with the type of riding.

He never left the track and was trying to get up.. seems active. Thats a philosophical question really. In that moment, everything pointed to him being able to race. He sat on the gate for 5 minutes almost, AMA had plenty of time to interpret the rule and make a decision. Should guys who get in first turn crashes (but are not the rider who the flag is thrown for) also not be allowed a fair restart. I mean they are a lap behind the pack almost. A better rule would be all riders who pass the red flag during...

Have any of you naysayers ever had an actual concussion? Or seen a friend with a concussion for that matter? Dude recalled the incident to a T and then sounded fine on the podium afterwards. Still made the podium. Gnarly motherf$$$$er

The medical staff cleared him to race and there is no rule that says a rider can’t restart the race before 3 laps have been run if they have caused the red flag...that in a nutshell is how he was allowed to race....and he proved he was alright by finishing on the podium...

He seemed with it and remembered the crash exactly as it happened. The doctors on site decided he didn’t have any concussion symptoms and correctly let him race.

He got the wind knocked out of him, shot to the groin, and a gnarly charlie horse. Of course his muscles were going to be temporarily spasming/locked.. give the kid a break, he probably thought it was worse too until the muscles let go and the intense pain faded. I don’t blame the medic staff and AMA for throwing the flag, they probably thought it was much more severe than a gnarly charlie horse, and Cameron probably thought so too. However, it faded, he was evaluated and the race was a full legal restart. He didnt ask for the red...
