Rest in peace, Bill, I Always enjoyed walking around the pits and checking out his bikes. Bill handed us some tools in between motos at a national even tho we were racing against his riders. The guy always seemed Friendly and had a lot of love for the sport.

Supply and demand, folks. As soon as fewer people start showing up to race, the AMA will start paying more. As long as there are hopefuls willing to line up and pay to race, nothing will change.

10/24/2020 6:34pm Maybe 2 to 5 privateer is probably making a small profit at the end of weekend if that. Mxsports and AMA need to increase the payout. Also the manufactures purse needs to be bumped up by $100 to $250. It’s sad when my local MTB series pays out better than two top 20 finishes.

Yes, we implemented the policy a couple of years ago. The fact that someone left an empty gate didn't seem right, and as a result of the change a lot of guys (and now one girl) have been able to compete in a national. Jordan was the fifth alternate and was there and ready to race when they told her three minutes before the gate dropped! She would be done better had her bike not been running badly for much of the moto. DC Racer X

We have had both, plus I've worked at FedEx for a friend who owns 10 routes. Transits are cheaper to own and maintain. They part are easier to get and they drive better. Get a 350 transit HD and never look back. The ECO Boost engine is awesome and a dime a dozen to replace. The Diesel sprinter engine is $9000.00!!! There is a reason 90% of Amazon and FedEx trucks are Transits. Plus, this happened to my last Sprinter.

8/29/2020 4:15am it rained for about 20 minutes hard with pretty bad winds. I’m at the track now and it looks prime with not much mud. Should be dry race by second practice hopefully.

Oh it is. The mtb forums have been abuzz with this endeavour for a while now. Whether or not he qualifies it already got alot more non moto eyballs paying attention just to see what happens . I dont care if someone's day job is a plumber or WC DH racer. If he can make the cut it's all that matters. Its a tall task for sure but i appreciate his zeal and dont feel he is dissing the sport.
