I'm no Hunter fan, but all we hear is "deep field" and then we're surprised a guy in his rookie 450 season isn't top 5? 🤷 Besides losing his shit in that LCQ, he's been in front of both factory Husky's hasn't he? Both with experienced guys on them... I appreciate that isn't a great yard stick right now, but still. I get that he's not off to a flying start and some were maybe a bit optimistic, but it's probably better than going balls out and smashing himself to bits?

In some races he's finished ahead of Eli Tomac, Chase Sexton, Cooper Webb, Jason Anderson, Ken Roczen, and Justin Barcia, who have all had podium race finishes this year.

Probably not as sharp as I was expecting, however, the guys in front are no joke. Would be good to see him with a start

I was thinking he was gonna be more 'up there' but I'm sure life comes at ya pretty fast in the top ten of a 450 SX main haha so I expect his results to get better and better once he feels more comfortable

I was expecting more out of him before the series began. I gave him a yes vote on the pole, he seems like a very smart rider who is staying within his limits. When he’s more comfortable I’m thinking he well be getting into the top 5 with an occasional podium. At least he’s not crashing his brains out trying to get up front. He and Justin Cooper should both improve as the series moves along

Unfortunately at some stage in their careers there have been quite a few of the top guys not make mains before, Villapoto is one that comes to mind, sometimes shit happens.

Seeing Jett's response to the boos and the shot of him watching the broadcast featuring the social media stuff sorta surprised me.. Seems he wasn't affected by it in the slightest.. Good shit haha But the vlogs are good cause they're pretty in and out haha and as usual the star for me is Tom's music choices! Always keeps it interesting

Because Anderson is a f'kin asshole as evidenced so many times. The only thing that ever made him cool was team fried - that was entirely Tommy Tenders (who he treated like shit in many videos)

"sounds butthurt as hell" yeah I'd be pretty annoyed if you heard all season from US fans that the field is weak and Jett's success doesn't count, meanwhile the guy who was faster than Tomac was there all year and got smoked by Jett with ease. Imagine winning something in a flawless fashion and being told it doesn't count.

You've read this thread and you say it's the Australians with the thin skin? Maybe you didn't actually watch the interview.. He just said that he'd heard a lot of people talk about Jett only winning cause it was a weak field but now he won in the 'most stacked ever' field

I totally agree. The Lawrences are fighters and have earned everything that they have achieved so far. No problem with his father saying what he did. My Aussie friends throw the word cunt around all the time as a friendly term. I'd hate to see what he says if he was pissed.
