RV has said before he ran diff races to get the rake. And lots of shock changes. In 14 SX he was up to shock #57 on revisions. That’s crazy.

As illustrated above, RV steers with the rear tire so to speak. It makes sense he wouldn’t need anything but the stock triple clamp.

i've never run aftermarket triple clamps either, i'm no RV but you can't convince me there's enough of a difference for little Joey at Chicken Licks Raceway to need to dump that kind of money into triple clamps. buddy of mine went through a few different aftermarket sets a season. i still whooped that ass regularly.

I have to agree with you. He’s shown a whole different side of his personality after retirement. It even took a couple years for him to loosen up to where he’s at now. Ryan’s dad was a real nice guy. He just came up to me at a race and started watching with me and then introduced himself. Tyler raced some too. I wasn’t into the whole win and get a new gun thing though as a non hunter.
