7/27/2020 6:22pm I ride alot of open desert, sandy washes, rocky terrain, gnarly hill climbs and enduro type shit, but I don’t get to carried away beating up my bikes in the rocks. Also ride up north in the woods a little bit I’d like to ride some tracks here in AZ but haven’t ever been.

7/27/2020 6:19pm RM and and YZ are pretty stuck around 3000 the guy wants 2600 for the 01 (yikes) lol. The YZ is a 2012 so it’s fairly new seems like a great deal.

For your intended use, I’d say the YZ. If it were for me to ride, my order would be RM, YZ, CR. If I am buying a used two-stroke more than a year or two old (unless it’s owned by someone I know), I’m looking for overall decent shape but assuming a full top to bottom engine rebuild and offering price accordingly. Two reasons. First, I don’t trust anyone’s work but mine. Second, I wouldn’t be able to ride it with a clear head not knowing it was fresh (since I’d know nothing about the time it was drowned in...

The YZ125. The other 2 are getting too old, probably have a lot more hours, need parts, and parts are getting hard to find for both of them. I had both the Honda and the YZ125. The Honda suspension is pretty bad without a bunch of work and the YZ suspension is some of the best ever.

I'm a Honda guy so I would go that direction, but I had a friend that built a yz for a guy back in his home town and it was super trick. Seem to handle really well and overall power seemed good. I had a 06cr250 I just sold this year after going though the entire bike and it was awesome. So a plus one on the honda ! Cheers Vital village.

Lots of experience and I’d avoid that one. Wait and find one with low hours if you want one.

I had an 05 RM 250 and loved it. Hate that I sold it. Great handling and power. Could be a little finicky at speed, but the power was good from low end to top. I would not trust anything Wiseco and would do a full rebuild on the RM if it was me getting it.
