4/18/2025 8:15am I use the 13mm taller seat; it's better for me at 5'11", and it doesn't look bad. It looks like the bike should come that way. If you look at KTM power parts, they sell a taller seat and recommend a taller seat for riders over 5'9".

post this in another thread In all my years of racing and injuries I now know what level 9 and 10 pain is. It has been posted in the non moto section before but for about 9 months I have been in excruciating pain and it was finally tracked down to being a L4 and L5 spinal cord pinch. I have some pretty serious questions about the authenticity of anyone who claims they can feel chassis harshness riding in flat ground, but that’s just me. If you say things with enough conviction you’ll always convince a certain number of people, that’s for sure.

Most of us aren’t fast enough to drag bar or levers, so the only two things that should be making contact with terra firma are our front and rear sneakers! Having said that, I’d try some Rinaldi’s from MotoMan Pete V. next time you hit Glen Helen: Lots of the REM -scratch that - Saturday at The Glen regulars swear by them, and the price is competitive with those from Tusk. I have a KTM 350 and the parts absolutely cost more (probably double the money for an engine rebuild) but it also lasts a lot longer than my friends bikes, they all ride Yamaha and Kawi's. They rebuild engines every 50-60 hours and Im on one rebuild at 200 hours, and its not because I'm neglecting it either. If its worth anything I asked Twisted their opinion when I did the rebuild and they told me when it comes to the Austrian bikes stick with OEM if durability and longevity is what you're looking for because everyone else is still...
