5/22/2011 7:02pm I know that this isnt the same, but my 100% EPA certified VW Golf TDI that I bought last year is averaging 45-50mpg on freeway and 35-40 in the city. Much lighter car than a full size but clean diesels can get excellent MPG. Its nice to drive that thing since I can get about 600 miles to the tank.
