You're not wrong to think that. He hasn't shown a lot of speed outdoors consistently ever really. I do hope he has some speed though. I like Austin and want to see him succeed again.

Yeah, all of the people who say Southwick isn’t a real sand track…whatever, that’s not the point. The way it develops, it’s one of the tougher tracks in the world to race on.

I just really hope/want to see a full season at speed from Austin. Kid is special whether you like him or not. He wouldn’t still be with Mitch if he didn’t deserve to be there and I hope he gets to reward Mitch for his patience with Austin.

Yeah I'd like to see Jo back on top too. I was hoping he was just easing back into it after the injury and lay up but he seems to be having some bad luck and finding himself in a bad spot too often outdoors. He found the balance between winning speed and staying upright before, so hopefully he can again. I'm sure it'll come back to him and I'm 100% behind it, so hopefully this will be the week.

I agree it's not Hopper but comparing Hopper to PulpMX is pretty funny. Hopper is building a pretty solid YouTube channel, not denying that, but he's not bigger than Pulp in the grand scheme of reach/followers/viewership/listeners. Out of curiosity I grabbed a few of the social media numbers to compare but this doesn't even include all the other content on Pulp's website, podcasts under the PulpMX umbrella or even other ventures such as PulpMX fantasy or Steve's freelance work for other prominent companies.

I live about 15 minutes from the track and have been to every national at Thunder Valley. This year was definitely down on attendance. For the most part the weather was great all day but we did get a little sprinkle during the second 450 moto. I think the weather was the largest factor. We have had rain everyday for what seems like weeks and they were predicting showers in the afternoon. I thought it was a great race....250 and 450 class were both full of great racing action. Track was gnarly. Ruts were crazy. Glad I didn't have to ride that track. Quality entertainment for me
