As an Albertan I approve of our premier taking the federal government to task. We are the engine that powers this country. Only to get shit on by the majority of our fellow countrymen. I can only hope that the booting out of ultra left governments in so many other countries continues here in Canada.

Personally, I would like to see thieves in a chain gang, dressed in orange overalls with THEIF written in big bold black letters on the front and back of said overalls. Let them work in a chain gang cleaning pavements, public parks, parking lots etc...they need to give back to the law-abiding public... Everyone will be able to see what their crime was.

You can defend CA, but I wouldn't underestimate the feces problem... I also don't think barbarism is the solution, but liberal policies of letting people get away with theft under a certain value with ZERO consequences isn't the solution... You are going in the wrong direction for sure. Do I want more prisons? Not really, but the punishments need to increase, not decrease for crimes committed. And if that means more places to lock up, then let's get them built.
