3/21/2019 8:37am I have no idea if this matters or not, but did the clutch kit you bought have the two different friction plates for the ends of the clutch pack? Did you put the clutch boss spring in? Just throwing ideas out there. #13(2 of them) & 14 in the below diagram link. https://www.ronayers.com/oemparts/a/yam/50042eebf8700209bc78a594/clutch

3/19/2019 5:28pm Hey Adam, for some reason I could not respond to your PM. My YZ125 is a 1989. All I did with mine was to go to the aluminum clutch cover. I did have some serious drag with the original cover. Put the newer cover, problem solved. I have heard of issues with aftermarket clutch parts being to thick, not sure...

12/11/2018 5:30am That is the Rhode Island Trials Club, they have an agreement with the RI DEM to ride in part of Arcadia Management Area. Held a FIM world round there in 2015. I was 7 or 8 and went to an event at Pine Top.

I believe most of the blame for the screen addicted generation falls directly on the parents. People in general, including parents, are so self absorbed that they would rather their kids spend hours in front of a screen than have to stop posting selfies on social media and do any real parenting. I work in the medical field and know countless doctors who’s wives “stay at home with the kids” only to ship the kids to off to daycare so the mother can spend the day getting manicures and sipping lattes at Starbucks in athletic gear. It’s ridiculous. My childhood...

6/15/2018 6:20am I was told on here that the 1991 or 1992 covers will work better as the are made of aluminium and do not flex like the 89 and 90 magnesium cover does. I do know that the 93 cover does not work as the clutch pull rod is a smaller diameter.

3/21/2018 4:49am I purchased a set of 1991 YZ125 to replace my '89 forks. The forks have one of the axle holder studs snapped off about 1/2" out of the leg. Looks like the PO over tightened and snapped it at the axle holder. I'm thinking I'm going to need some heat to get it out. If I can find some thinner...

3/11/2018 7:00am I just rebuilt one, wished I started off with something that looks like yours. I haven't ridden it yet. Plastics, I got from UFO. Fork springs, I haven't found any due to 89-90 having 41mm forks. Supposedly the 91 forks(43mm and you can get springs for these) and triple clamps bolt right on and you can use your wheel, axle...

1/8/2018 5:10am Ken does great work. Had him do my '89 YZ125 crank. Dropped it off on Thursday morning, got a call Friday morning it was done. Runout was better than OEM spec.

1/7/2018 5:00pm I'd go with the Allen kit because I hate dealing with Philips heads for the cases. But, there are also those who like to keep a bike stock. Who are you going to have do your crank? BTW, I've never seen a clutch plate do that.
