Heck yeah!! I'm glad you finally found one.. I have everything I need to finish the body.. Only thing I haven't ordered yet is the engine parts but I will do that after I buy the rest of my gear.. I still need knee braces and a better helmet..

Man this build is really becoming even more fun.. I'm still waiting on my black side panels from motosport so I took a practice run on cutting the old white ones.. I turned out pretty good..




I feel like the cuts go along well with the new tank and shrouds..

I'm going to go really simple with the graphics because the flo yellow is loud enough as it is and I don't want it to distract from the rest of the bike.. Will probably go with something black and white..

I installed the hammerhead brake tip today.. Are the HH brake tips supposed to come with two different screws?? They were both m5. One was the m5x0.8 as I was expecting but the other not only looked different but it had an odd thread pitch.. I simply threw it away and used a slightly longer screw that I had laying around.




I wear a size 14 boot so the oversized brake tip should help with the aesthetics of the foot controls..

Man I just found a couple of great surprises. I am finally ready to start working on the motor so I started the tear down knowing that the cylinder needs to be repaired so that sucks but I pulled the clutch cover off to find that this bike has a full hinson clutch kit.. I know the inner hub and pressure plate are really hard to find for this bike so I was really excited to see that.


And I initially thought the cylinder was ported from riding the bike.. I thought it hit harder in the mid to top than my 06 RM125 but the cylinder doesn't look too out of the ordinary. But the cases however look to have been polished around the intake area and the crank area.. I think the cases were ported and not the cylinder. I'm not very familiar with port work so you can have a look..





I forgot to take pictures of the crank but it was in good condition and looks like an o.e.m. and all of the transmission parts and bearings were good so I will just get some o.e.m. mains and gaskets and some hinson clutch discs and that should finish the bottom end..

Well after a year of very slowly building this bike it finally runs.. It isn't nearly finished but I just purchased a house and I know I won't be able to spend any money on this bike any time soon so I ordered one last batch of parts and put together what I had so that I don't have to go another summer bikeless..

Yes.. The picture above was taken at Full Throttle MX Park.. It ran really well until the bike spit the right side crank seal out.. I may or may have not been rushing to put the motor together .. I can't wait to get on the track again.. It was my very first time on a MX track but I felt pretty comfortable despite not riding for almost a year..
