I guess you could argue that a turn up is a type of whip. That being said, this is the exact photo I thought of when I read the thread heading. Nothing like sending it sideways over the leap with 100% confidence, and in front of packed stands. I really hope that Kenny is well rested and we see the 2016 version of him this year.

I'm only posting this because it is the off-season, but I couldn't stop laughing at this ad. The bike looks horrible, but everything they you can't see in the pictures is fresh and new....and he rebuilt the motor, but didn't bother to clean the carb.

Ideally I'd say try both and then decide but that aint always easy. I say get a 350, especially if racing is what youre looking at getting back into. For your classes at a local level how long you can push will be far more important than power and a 350 is a lot less physically demanding and has more...

This is my suggestion also. If your market where you are is even remotely like it was in MN this year you can probably find a straight up trade pretty easy. There are ways to tame a 450 a bit as others have suggested but if youre truly just scared to ride the thing just go a different route and...

Assuming we're talking about people that are racing... Any "suspension guy" that cant improve a bike from stock is a "suspension guy" that should be avoided. I picked up a 21 350 SX-F in August after 6 years on a 14 KX250F and I was kicking myself for not doing it sooner. The 350 is an amazing bike and you will not regret picking one up if you go that route.
