Wanted to create a new thread to discuss the specs of the bike. 63.5 hp at 231 pounds (without fuel) sounds insane to me. With all that power, I'm surprised they went with a 110 rear tire but Ducati knows more than I do. But seriously, what's not to love? Brembo brakes and clutch, Showa suspension, magnesium covers, tuning via WiFi module and app, and the price point is much less than originally expected. Can't wait to see it in person and hear some reviews.

9/11/2024 7:49am Kick starting a bike is easy. I'll bet most of the comments are based on only having owned an e-start bike. Just try kicking a Suzuki and you'll see how easy they start.

I have followed the sport a long time and i don’t remember Mitch giving much of an interview to anyone so I was very interested in what he had to say and he answered well. For example, instead of too many comments about Ty or not he stated how some of his riders only had one or their only win with him putting in perspective that it was in fact just 1 win so far. Mitch and PC has some of the most trusted tuning for all sized bikes. It was cool to see Ty step down and have success ‘like Mitch can help create’ nothing against Ty but makes me wonder why Mitch doesn’t run a 450 bike under his tent. Hard to believe one of the most successful coaches and tuners prefers the smaller bikes when some people give more credentials to the bigger class like where Roger and Lars oversee both. He said astigmatism because Ty may have an eye that is not perfectly round. There’s nothing wrong with Ty or his riding. About his history he has a high achieving family who likes to do their own 125 degree training program and similar to letting Levi train in Florida Mitch just said he is on his way back to Texas where everything is bigger there.

I was not asking Mitch to agree, I was letting Mitch share his assesment of Ty as there’s been an opinion formed of Ty. Mitch has worked with him one-on-one and is qualified to speak to what he’s actually experienced and hopefully clear it up.

Regardless of the brand and team, Ty Masterpool has a bright future and destiny to fulfill. It will be interesting to see who signs Ty for 2025. Blessings to all -- Dave

So far it's been great, power is similar to a 350 out of corners and a 250 up top. It's interesting to ride back to back with my Varg because although it's down on power compared to the Stark, it's 20 lbs lighter and corners incredibly well, so I feel like the overall fun factor may actually tip the scales towards the conversion bike. We're planning to do a shootout video soon between the EMX, Varg, Atla, and Arctic Leopard which should be really interesting.

5/25/2021 3:20pm Check the air vent hose on the gas cap. Blow through it to make sure you don't have a vapor lock.

Seems like a long time since the YZ450 has won a GP, AMA National or a Supercross event. Let's hope Glenn has better success than others have had with the YZ 450.

2/9/2021 12:57pm I did go with the HV model. I purchased on-line direct from Lectron. Paid $530.00 delivered. It took about four days. Speak to Eloy in sales. For smoother power delivery I plan to move from a 13/50 sprocket set to a 13/52 set. I run CarbonTech Reeds in my stock reed block. They sound completely different than the stock reeds...

2/9/2021 12:00pm IMHO the power is much more linear. Way more torque down low. In the past I would need to double clutch to get the rpm's up. Now I can simply roll on the throttle. 2/9/2021 11:12am Yes, I have a 2017 150xcw. I also own a 2003 KTM 125SX that I've owned since new. The 125 runs amazing with the PWK 39 Air Striker. I was shocked at how poor my 150 ran even with all the carb modifications I had to do.

2/9/2021 10:48am I made all the modifications found in this thread and then some. Finally I installed a Lectron carb. All my problems disappeared and I got 20% better fuel economy. The Lectron produced way more power throughout the rpm range. IMO the Lectron is the best solution.
