9/30/2019 6:19am I see you point but the answer is no, multiple riders/team who were from other countries and areas beat USA so just cause you don't live in Michigan its not a reason for being beaten on home soil. As you said - show up and do the best. Unfortunately for USA their best wasn't the winning result. Some teams didn't...

9/30/2019 2:35am Just cause there are open spots on those teams above, doesn't mean they are the teams he is talking to.

9/2/2019 8:19am Don’t think it’s just that at all. Look at the role that he had when he joined KTM compared to the role that he had when he left. He bought a team to get himself back into the paddock and after one season the manufacturer withdrew their support. His relationship with Herlings is just one of the many things that he got wrong in his team management phase. He once told KTM that they would never win anything with Herlings, which is clearly ridiculous. Great riders don’t always make great team owners/managers

colonel Added a reply to Plessinger......what’s the deal there?
8/12/2019 7:51am You have answered the question yourself. You do know that the same team of trainer(s) from Star when Webb and Plessinger were there stayed on as their trainers when they went to 450?
colonel Added a reply to Plessinger......what’s the deal there?
8/11/2019 12:01am Yamaha/Star Yamaha and their program cannot transition a rider from 250 to 450 class. Webb was example 1 and now Plessinger. What you do on a 250 is not going to transition to a 450 especially off bike training.

7/18/2019 11:18am I think if Cooper had the structure he has now on the Yamaha he would produce the results he is getting on the KTM. The transition from 250 to 450 is not a easy one and none of the Yamaha (Star 250) riders so far (Webb and Plessinger) have delivered what they did on the 250 when going 450 Factory...

7/18/2019 10:59am Which bit of that surprises you. Had to buy a team to stay in the paddock. Didnt get a deal with Yamaha, went to KTM who he had no dealings with and went sideways and down till he was out.
