10/23/2024 6:26pm It is kind of a weird time of the year to get back into watching I'm basically trying to catch back up so I know whats going on when A1 comes around in January... Thanks for breaking down the SMX and WSX thats the new series races I was referring to.

Kind of a weird time of year to get into watching the sport again. All the AMA races are over until the supercross season starts again in early January. AMA supercross remains basically the same, a 17 race season. AMA Motocross remains basically the same, although the season got a little shorter at 11 races (in 2024 anyway). There is a 3rd season now, SMX (super motocross) that is a 3 race playoff (in 2024). There is also MXGP - outdoor motocross style races in "Europe". I don't know the details.
