So after many years of watching every MX and SX race from the McGrath days in the 90's then taking a little break and catching the end of the Ricky Era, I started watching every race again religiously during the 08 SX season when Chad Reed won the SX series for the second time, Then in 09 he won the MX Title on Suzuki...After many years of watching everything even Monster Energy Cup's, Straight Rhythms and all the regular seasons races life got in the way again and right around Covid times I started to not have time to watch every race anymore and now have found myself lost in whats been going on... When did the World MX SX become one series? Has it been better for the sport or not really? Id like to get back into watching all the races again even if its not live but replayed back on Peacock? I'm missing my favorite sport in my older age I guess Lol!
There are a couple brothers really taking the sport by storm. Have a real stranglehold on it.

Last time I looked, all of this year and last year's races are still on Peacock.

Nearly everybody is racing 125,s now. MC still has his style from his 91 peak days. Marv races 125,s in the Canadian Nationals premix class . Emig was on a 150 in 24 a 300 2-st. Kind of a weird time of year to get into watching the sport again.
All the AMA races are over until the supercross season starts again in early January.
AMA supercross remains basically the same, a 17 race season. AMA Motocross remains basically the same, although the season got a little shorter at 11 races (in 2024 anyway).
There is a 3rd season now, SMX (super motocross) that is a 3 race playoff (in 2024).
There is also MXGP - outdoor motocross style races in "Europe". I don't know the details.
Lastly, there is World Supercross (WSX). This is a startup series that has a lot of difficulty getting their races to actually occur. It seems this years season is 4 races but who knows.
Plus one off supercross races (or series) around the world - Paris, Australian SX, and others.
It is kind of a weird time of the year to get back into watching I'm basically trying to catch back up so I know whats going on when A1 comes around in January... Thanks for breaking down the SMX and WSX thats the new series races I was referring to.
