I grew up racing a majority of my youth classes in the 90's idolizing the big bikes of that era. I graduated to big bikes just in time for the first era of four strokes, so only got the chance to race 2-strokes for a single season on a RM125.

Because I always felt I was robbed of one of the coolest era's of bikes, I'm reliving that now through my replica builds under my side business, Moto Envy, LLC. I build factory-replica 90's and 00's 2-strokes. I have a meticulous eye for details and ensure that nothing is overlooked.

Nice! No, for the most part I only did cosmetic work to the rear brake. I added a steel CORE brake line, drilled a port hole in the top of the caliper, added a Race Tech titanium banjo bolt, welded/removed the sight glass from the master cylinder and cerakoted everything bronze. I wanted to update the rear caliper but it would have been trial and error and buying a bunch of other kx parts off eBay. I didn’t have any luck either. Hey man! It's me again with more build questions. So I've found a 250f front end and brake caliper to swap over the forks on mine. Did you update the rear brake caliper on your build too? If so, what did you end up going with? I'm not having a ton of luck with compatibility. Appreciate the insight!

Ask away, I really do not mind. I’m running a set of Xtrig clamps now but in the picture I’m running the stock 2011 kx250f clamps, forks, front wheel, axel and front brake line. You’ll have to modify your stock steering stop or buy a Trickengineering.com bolt on stop. I bought a steering stop from Trick, it was supper simple to install. I’ll try and add a few more pictures to my profile

It’s the stock 03 shock. I had the shock body anodized black and all of the other retainers/aluminum pieces anodized red.

What rear shock are you running here? Sorry, this is the best 2003 build I've seen, so looking for info if you're willing to share.

It’s the original pipe from 2003. Kawi did a limited run of works “Lusk” pipes for that year. I know PC only offers a platinum pipe for 03 but you can call them and they’ll set one aside for you before they send them out for plating. I had to do this of my 03 125. Also, 04 has an extra pipe hanger on the top of the pipe
