Are there any videos of current (past 10 years) pros riding motocross bikes from the 60s and 70s? I've seen retired racers like Emig and Stanton do it, but I've never seen a video of a rider in their prime do it. Roczen on McGrath's Honda just isn't far enough back for what I'm looking for. I'd like to see...

I have this season on vhs at home slmewhere, I'll try and upload the crash if I can find it. I remember being pumped for how fast he was in just his second national.

I completely agree. I was mostly talking about the progression of the sport techniques (riding style, specialized fitness training, scrubs, whoop skills, etc) and how it would translate to an old bike. I'm curious as to how growing up in today's era of riding technical supercross at a young age would help on old bikes and old school ungroomed mx...

Thanks guys! The cole seely clips were great. Windham picture is insane. I just wanted to see what the progression of the sport would do for a current guy to ride an old bike.

I believe that Zach Osborne rode a maico 490 when he was over here during his gp days, not sure if there's any video but it was in a magazine. I'll see if I can find it. I seem to remember though that he was really impressed with the engine.

My theory is that it's not fair to the older guys to compare eras. I think that every generation progresses the sport enough that it would be impossible for the old guys to compete. That goes for them time traveling to the future, and the future guys time traveling to the past. Its too much of an advantage to have...

Forgive me as this was probably discussed on either Matthes' or Zach's podcast, but do we know if their diets suffered over there? I assume with Aldon that Zach and Jason had strict regimes they followed, but Jason driving 6 hours for chipotle in his video makes me wonder. I'm pumped they went over early to get acclimated and prepared...

It's a cool event once per year but it's just not the skill set that I personally care about watching. I'd honestly rather watch a head to head race on series of corners than rhythm sections. The reason rhythm sections are cool in supercross is because the difficult jumps to clear are usually* coming into or out of a corner...

Man it's a pipe dream but I honestly wish he would go this year. As a fan, watching our best guy win the same old series again feels almost empty. Ideally it would be perfect to have indoor supercross here in the US over the Winter, and then a smaller USA national series on the off weekends of a shortened...
