I was paralyzed waist-down at age 12 back in 2001. Mav is also in a chair, lot of us here at Vital are. The first year is the toughest. I was a factory support rider for PC/Kawi and suddenly pissing through a tube and stuck in a chair. It's been 20 years and I'm still a para. It was too difficult for me to be at the races and stay involved in MX after my injury, all I could think about was how badly I wanted to ride/race and how I would be killing everyone I used to race with...

I’ve seen the same in my area for powersports items as well. My friend owns a local bike shop and has sold literally everything but a $6500 USED Felt MTB. He said people who have never rode before were coming in and swiping the CC for anything that was available, including higher end stuff. He has been unable to get new stock either. I am not an economist by any stretch, but I don’t think we have fully realized the economic implications of this year’s events. I think there will be a lot of new bikes, SXS’s, MTBs, ect, hitting...

I hope someone got that shot in good quality. In my opinion is an epic moment of motocross racing!! So much in one pic, just crossing the line and pointing to the sky to Jesse, and all the pack behind wide open I mean I would frame that pic.

They may simply be agreeing on a standard set of dimensions and connections; not necessarily producing the batteries themselves. Either way, I like it. It will be good for the industry to have a standard.

Maybe the Federal Reserve can sponsor them, they print a fresh trillion every month!

Guessing this had something to do with scaring MX Sports away from the washougal national. Tho now its “conveniently” slated to take place after the national was to take place.... and announced just in time to make it impossible for a scramble to get it together.
