Alright, a small update. Vapor blasted my engine cases, they came out awesome but revealed some issues, the most glaring being that a later cylinder used on early cases needs to be modified. Note the addition of a new powervalve pivot hole in the later cases shown below (neither of these are my pictures): Early: Late: Here's what some doofus did to try to accommodate that at some point in the last 30 years... What they didn't account for is that there's a really large hole there on the later cases and the hole was just hanging...

I dug that Factory Honda Tortelli seat cover out of the dumpster at the Houston Supercross. Wished it would have been Lusk’s seat cover. Lusk won the Houston main in either 98 or 99.

To the original poster Steve Clitheroe knows his engines and knows how to make the bike rideable for the average guy which will in turn improve lap times which is what it is all about rather than some top end figures Aprilia did loads of development in the end With two stroke tuning them more I know the more I realise I don’t know

How about we ride dirt bikes with their own onboard generators. Imagine this... internal combustion engines in place of that heavy, inconvenient, and environmentally-unfriendly battery. All you have to do is bring a can of energy-infused liquid to the track with you, and it takes less than 1 minute to completely re-energize the motorcycle for your next ride.

I'm way biased as Fro is my favorite all time rider and Shift gear is my all time favorite gear, followed closely by SMP. Yes I know but the ladies loved it. His 1997 gear is imo the best looking of all time and didn't have a cheeseball name like "No Fear" lol. It was still underground and catered to racing and FMX.

No, Herlings would not be #84 if he came, that number was assigned for 2022 based on 2021 points and is not transferable. Herlings used #784 the last time he was here. In the case of Dungey #5 was open and the AMA felt that they would make an exception for his comeback, however long it lasts. And #222 has been used the last couple of seasons by Brandon Hugney of Pennsylvania, but he has not qualified or picked up any points with it yet, and agreed that Cairoli could use it as well since the AMA can work around...

I couldn’t decide between the 1 or 3, so I picked up both for now.

KDub and Travis on Suzuki with the No Fear gear is IMO the greatest bike gear combo that we have ever seen. It always looked so awesome, close second would be McGrath and his No Fear Chaparral Yamaha days and Chad Reed 2011 Two Two Honda and Shift Combos. But nothing beats TP and KDub.
