This would be the look that the gear is based off, the proper Australia Olympic jackets, Green and gold. Then of course the blue represents the flag. A classy new take on Aussie colours, Websters green and yellow definitely popped on track though.

New Zealand doesn’t use green on their sporting colours - they use predominantly black with white or silver highlights; or some variation of that.

Yes, but..... I don't know the specifics exactly; but having been coach (well, fitness trainer) to a couple of NZ representatives (and applicants) in previous years, it still comes with a large commitment ($) for riders so its not always simple

I'm guessing it's this part of the statement... "the absence of expressions of interest" In recent years at least, MNZ has opened it up for interested riders to register their interest and apply. And then discussions and negotiations happen from there. So if (as the statement implies) their was an absence of applications, there wouldn't have been anything to work with

Probably in the same line as Americans getting sick about getting Jett shoved down your throats, because you has to see it. 4/15/2025 11:08pm Do you think Cole is a given? As of today; I'd think Brodie Connolly would be the 250 pick on MX experience/performance. But if Cole brings Star, and marketing possibilities (maybe some Whittakers sponsorship $ 😉) then that weighs into things. I guess we'll see once US Outdoors is underway. Wonder how Brodie goes on a 450 at the moment.....

I'm generalising... but for many of us, American's are some of the most overtly outwardly patriotic people on the planet. Which in turn makes it fascinating to watch how that plays out in the sports we love to watch
