He has been announcing in this sport for almost 20 years and he still struggles to know when the riders hit the last lap or checkered flag, as an ANNOUNCER by the way. Still struggles to get any names right, most of the time he just calls the riders number now. Constantly interrupting his partner in the booth. He has a great voice for announcing and I totally get that for most of us listening to him it feels very nostalgic.
