Just bring back the last generation 2-strokes (Honda, Kawi, Zuki).... Little cost to bring back proven great bikes that they already have tooling for. Freshen them up with more modern forks/shocks. KISS - keep it simple stupid. Electric start castings and EFI are just going to run the prices up. The sport needs some affordability. 4-strokes have killed affordability. KTM/Husky/GasGas are out of their mind with their pricing of 2-stokes and they haven't ironed out the bug yet. EDIT: You can shove the plug-in toasters that cost $14k where the sun don't shine.

Because I like Honda's more and I want them to start making 2-strokes again, with modern day components.

Everyone has their preferences. Some of us guys like good-looking bikes and good-looking women. Other guys like men and quads. To each his own.

The mapping and running issues seem very hit or miss. Some guys never touch a thing, bike runs clean, and they have 100+ trouble free hours. Other guys have spooge coating the rear wheel, bogging, constant messing with crankcase pressure sensors, TPS setting adjustments, sending the ECU off for remapping, and never quite feeling the bike has enough power. The YZ250 is a very well known, simple, can't miss entity. No electronics to worry about, cheap jets, starts and runs every time. Like a 2-stroke should.

Because it’s completely different to what we are used to and change needs time. I think it it will either split in separate classes. If the E-bikes will take over it will kill the sport how we know it and will change it forever. From a competitive standpoint I still need to be convinced these bikes are able to run in deep sand. I haven’t seen one at a deep sandtrack doing a 20 min moto. also the big promotors see a huge decline in potential as in viewers and attendace at the races. The MotoGP E class learned us...

So let me get this straight, Honda was adamant about killing the 2-stroke and now they are going balls deep into e-bikes? Can you see why I support Yamaha and KTM?

😄 🤣Not a bearded Collie! . That's my brother's late weed toking sheepdog, Boris! He tore the cellophane wrap on his collector's Cheech and Chong Big Bamboo album. So we decided to use the supplied rolling paper and spark it up!🤣. Of course Boris, aka Bogart, doesn't understand the meaning of puff puff pass! Disclaimer: I'm kidding about the dog...

SON OF THE GREAT YELLOW DIRT BIKE TRUCK By Rick Sieman/October 1983/Dirt Bike (Over the years, I had a number of El Caminos. One in particular stood out. It had an engine in it that powered a lakester to over 200 miles per hour at El Mirage. Brian Fabre stuffed that engine in an El Camino and sold it to me. I got more tickets with that rocket than I cared to think about. The only other problem was that I could not keep a clutch alive in that vehicle. I still vividly recall heading out to the desert in...
