For the life of me I can not understand why WSX went up against the schedules of all the outdoor races, local, regional, amateurs, national, and world championships. They are doomed, who is showing up to a stadium to see Bogle race Friese in July? What a way to waste a multi-million dollar investment.

Anyone who thinks Roczen and Honda parting ways was solely because of WSX hasn’t been paying attention.

I disagree. Going to a privateer team who’s on the most outdated and least supported manufacturer 1 month before the start of SX is just about as underdog as you could be if you’re expected to win. You’re simply wrong if you think Ken was/is a realistic championship contender this year, especially on an unproven bike and team. It’s funny to me how quickly the narrative has switched to ”Well he’s Ken Roczen, he could win on anything!” from “he’s clearly just chasing the biggest paycheck at the end of his career and riding a bike that is outdated.” Considering...

Adam Bailey must be bummed. Their ‘champion’ isn’t even coming back to defend his title. I’m starting to think WSX just isn’t going to work.

My guess is Kenny will do outdoors and then do the Germany round of WSX as a wild card with a very nice appearance fee.

WSX seems like it was the straw that broke the camel's back, but the relationship between Kenny and HRC was going sour long before that.

Actually it had more to do with how much he would have had to pay WSX if he backed out of the contract with them.....

That had more to do with Ken being a man of his word and following through on his commitment of doing it last year. He never made such a commitment this year.

Ken said on yesterday’s PulpMX show that he’s going to be racing the AMA Motocross series this summer.

It's hard to see it happening with his current results. If he can get there mentally, I think he has the talent and speed it takes to win. I'm just not sure he can get there anymore.

They didn't say it came from the Lawrence camp, but assumed it did. Feld for sure told the media not to ask about in the press conference and that is for sure chicken shit.

I thought I read somewhere that half the field went up to Kenny after the finish to congratulate him. I don't believe if he was still on a Honda that would have happened. It's apparent that Kenny winning on the Suzuki was a significant accomplishment in the eyes of most all the other pro riders. You can interpret that any way you want. I know how I do....

One thing he was right about is how the bike behaved when Kenny got sent flying, the first one was at Monster Cup then obviously season proper, Gajser had multiple crashes where the Honda would just pitch him off the bike with no warning very similar to Ken's crashes. But yeah who knows what's going on, behind the scenes.
