8/5/2023 10:47pm I think he could qualify but he will be lucky to finish top 30. Let's not forget his competition at LL is guys 40 and 50 plus weekend warriors so he's going to stand out. His overall in 2019 in plus 25 he got 4th overall and heath Harrison went 111 and heath was finishing mostly 36 an 37th overall...

I think people are assuming he could give it a go after LL’s; but, I’m with you…he needs to plan and invest time in training for AMA National level competition.

I have to wonder if Kawasaki is looked at the money they spent on all the kids like AF, AC, Reynolds, Ryder D and many others and just decided it wasn’t worth doing anymore on anything other than big bikes.

so many people mad that DC makes money off of an event lol Go to lorettas, walk around, the $1,000 in gate and entry fee's is nothing compared to what is spent on gear, motors, rvs, trailers, golf carts. if you dont think DC should make money off the event, you dont understand business or economics

On the first 40+ class podium of the day at LL's, Mike Brown stated he intends to race Loretta's one more year (2024) and attempt to qualify for a national afterward. He said if he makes it, it'll end his time at LL's. What's the current oldest rider to make a pro national 40 man field? Mid-40s? Does Dowd hold the record?

Pretty impressive considering he never really raced minis and only started taking it serious 2 or so years ago. Probably will have a lot longer career as won’t get burnt out as soon as the kids that have been chasing the dream since they were 7 years old. Does he have a chance to get picked up by one of the big teams?

Hopefully they get that bike dialed for SX and it's a good deal for him. I like his attitude about getting a ride and being privateer / free-agent / whatever you want to call him.

Hell, with some big insider bs and threats to the rider who made a claim, (by his own sponsorship I might add) I'm not sure there was a bike claim in 2022? So I'm sure the "bike claim" of 2023 will be the same
