I think you might be on to something. He even had a hard time getting along with his French riding coach at times and DV may be considered a opinionated person at times. So yes people may be done with him when he hasn't done anything lately. By the way I enjoy listening to both Dylan and DV but not sure I would want to put up with them daily.

The money came from NBC because MX Sports and Feld came together selling the whole season as a package with the creation of the ill worded playoffs by the request of NBC. It was literally new money this year because of that NBC TV deal. It’s a 5 year contract so this will continue for at least another 4 years. How many times do people have to be told this?

STAR put a deadline on it so they could plan to ship bikes and the related logistics that go into that not to mention personnel. They did not have the team by then so STAR was out. So Deegan runs the Team? No he doesn't. He did say he could have gone and had a basically stock bike and would have had to pay his own expenses etc. Would you do that if you were him? The comfort level of having the resources you are used to is arguably more important than showing up.

Can you link to one interview or PR from team Deegan BEFORE the race that he wants to do the race but Star will not let him go? Any PR from Star that they will not go BEFORE the race? Not hearsay from DC or anyone else but an actual statement?
