Because he's one of only 6 (7 if you count anderson's 2nd "win") guys in the field that have won multiple main events in the 450 class. regardless of how fragile he is, the potential to win races is way more important to teams than just making it to all the rounds.

I'd say if you want to see him, you should hit up the golf course. He's been there a LOT.

I'm aware of that but he's got it pretty good as a privateer. He flys to the races and spends the week in California.

Schmidt is always lobbying for fill in rides. Maybe he'd have a shot if he'd just get in shape.

Dungey got 4th because he's in great shape. Seely absolutely dropped anchor the 2nd half of the race. Blows my mind that Seely could be that far off Dungey in fitness.

Tomac set the fastest lap by almost 2 seconds. Dean was 3rd.

One other thing I would add is I don't think the penalty really has anything to do with trying to keep a professional image intact, I just think they have to draw the line somewhere and if you just let physical altercations go ahead, you could find yourself...

The way to get a consistent time is to DVR it and watch whenever you want. There's a TON of people(including me) that would much prefer it to be available live.

I'm pretty sure he rode the parade lap and decided not to go after that. You could tell he was hurting in the LCQ.
