Baseball stadiums seem to work well for supercross.Tha Astrodome was a staple for years for the SX series.

The Astros home in Downtown Houston is a state of the art stadium with a retractable roof.

The Houston round of CART used to run on the streets right outside the Staduim. And back in the day NHRA used to run in Baytown on the same weekend as SX.

Why not bring SX back to Houston to Minute Maid Park the same weekend as NHRA for a motorsports weekend and a neat destination? Minute Maid Park totally revitalized downtown Houston.

Anything to get Houston back on the schedule. Its the closest one to me since New Orleans isn't a regular stop anymore.

Getting Monster energy and Mellow Yellow to cooperate on destination marketing may be a bit of a reach, but the NHRA Spring National the 3rd weekend in April would be a great Time to bring SX back to Houston.

Umm 3rd weekend in April is baseball season. They're not going to let anything other than baseball players touch that field during the season.
