7 wins, 22 second, 1 third, 14 gets fourth, and 2 gets 5th

If I have done my points right that would leave them like this going into Vegas

Steward 309
Reed 309
Villopoto 309
Dungey 306

It would be great to see Vegas come down to whoever wins the race wins the title.

Isn't even that much of a stretch...though I'm not sure K-Dub will finish in front of Villopoto though....of course, if it rains/snows, he might win the darn thing (he lapped up to 3rd last year in the rain/snow).

As long as RV doesn't get the W this weekend, Vegas should be plenty tight enough to make a hell of a final round.

Do you guys think we'll see some elbows flying this weekend? It's getting to that point where it might be okay to run that guy the extra 2 feet over the berm rather than leaving him room.

How about this SLC main event scenario; 1st-JS, 2nd-RD, 3rd-CR, 4th-RV.
Points would be:
JS-309
RV-309
RD-308
CR-307

You would then have the winner of Vegas become your champion.

One can only hope!!!

Are you sure you want this to come down to a winner takes all race in vegas, I think we all know who is the heavy favorite if it comes down to one race...7 is the only one that without a doubt has speed when others don't and if he get to 1st, he has the ability to disappear...

unless the pressure mounts but you have to catch him first...and rv can't start, dungey isn't great either and if 22 doesn't punt him in the first 3 turns, it's over...

having said that, bring it on...odds are on 7 at that point...

rv2 can take care of this circumstance tomorrow if he gets his head out and gets his mojo back...

Yep, Windham schooled everyone. And I'm hoping Dungey has a better race than last year. He was way off his game, but it could have been that he knew he already had the title wrapped up.

I would love to see Dungey or Reed win this title.

Dungey hauls ass at Vegas tho. And 7 also has the tendancy to throw it away BIGTIME and has done it there before.

He didn't in 06 when it came down to RC, Reed, and Him....those three flat out hauled the mail for 20 laps at that race, no mistakes and none of them could cut into the others lead.

I'm with Karnivool...if its a one race, winner take all situation...odds are on Stewart. Nobody can go as fast as that man can at any given race.

What ever happens it will come down to one epic battle for the year. One of the better SX seasons of all time, IMO.

Hell, the title could almost be won tomorrow night if the aggression level gets out of hand by one or more of the four contenders. There are a lot of things that could happen tomorrow night that could make Vegas a lot less exciting to watch.

Wow, Titan, theres no denying Stewy's skill on a bike, but I thought capital letters were reserved for when referring to God!

RC, Reed and Him........??? Yeah, Stewarts not quite on the same level! Grinning

It could happen. RV seems to have the speed every week, but cant make it through the first turn on two wheels. If it bites him this weekend all bets are off. That said, go RV!!!
