i read this on jessica twitter. Thats where i got the pictures from also. She just said she might run it one time this summer. It sure would be cool if she raced it all year. The motor is all done up buy GYTR also.

Where is she going to race it? Surely, not in any WMA rounds. Not if she wants to beat Ashley, anyway...

Is 144cc legal in WMA? Ashley is significantly smaller, (read: Power to weight ratio), than Jessica, I believe? Maybe she can make up some ground in that department with the 2-stroke?

Patterson is not racing a 2 stroke after destroying Ashley like she did last yr. Its a 4 stroke world now and racing a 2 stroke in any Pro class is a pipe dream unless the AMA opens up the rules for the Lites class.

Have some hope. It might be true.

I'm not sure the 250F's are being maxed out because of the strength of the riders. It also maybe really easier for her to ride. If any of you have ridden a 125 lately, they are much much much lighter feeling. So as a woman, it may feel better after a lot of laps? don't know, just speculating why she would attempt it, unless they would finally change rules to 150cc. Then I'm pretty sure Sara KTM and Jessica YAM would ride them more to see which they like better.

I didn't catch that either. Is that a straight up bolt on conversion?

Ya, I think all you need is the swing arm and then new rear end parts because the rear wheel has a larger axle. So new wheel/axle/brake locator stuff.

Isnt there a two stroke race at some of the nationals?

There was one at Unadilla last year.

Check out what Ryan Hughs just wrote to Jessica on twitter.

'rynoglobal @JP_Money250 hell ya we have work to do for this season getting the 144 ready to beat the 250f..the 144 is going to shock the wma!"

Sounds like the 144 is a go for this summer!

it looks like people can and will produce their own updated 2-strokes when the manufacturer is slow to do so!

I think thats the same bike Max Anstie rode on last year in a racerX film, that one also had 144 on the number plates since it's a 144cc bike.
If that so why would she go down on a small 144? she's kinda big...

Yeah, Evan is observant for sure. Other than the bling thing and using the newer hubs etc. What's the benefit of doing this?

I am going to say no... MXsports webpage says the women displacement rules follow the 250 pro class rules.. which only allows up to 125cc 2 stroke.
